Special Business Forms Activision ‘Call of Duty’

Activision Blizzard to form a special business unit for the popular game franchise series ‘Call of Duty’, the formation of this business unit followed after two senior executives at the studio which developed Call of Duty leave activision, Both executives are president, Infinity Ward studio studio Jason West and Chief Executive Vince Zampella.

In a written statement, Activision said it had completed an internal investigation into a breach of contract and non-compliance made two senior employees Infinity Ward. Then comes the issue that this is causing both personnel are out of Activision. Activision also worried about the two former officials will make the game with a theme and the same system with a ‘Call of Duty’.

Reported by Reuters on (3/3/2010), respond to this by Activision spokesperson declined to detail about the sound description. They also mention out of two executives and Infinity Ward’s decision to form new business unit for Call of Duty have nothing to do with it.

Infinity Ward, which was acquired by Activision in 2003, developed the game Call of Duty and a few other games. Sixth series, the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 is released November 2009 successfully sold nearly 12 million units in the U.S., Japan and the UK. This figure is a record with sales of 4.7 million copies on the first day was thrown into the market and profit approximately USD310 million.
