Sony Computer Entertainment America has announced the PlayStation 3 will update v3.40 system soon.

Later on the system console v3.40 will include the PlayStation Plus subscription service and integration into the Facebook features.

Playstation Plus is a paid subscription service for the Playstation Network, announced at E3. This service allows players to access new features and applications.
